Dr. Deepak Anil Tambe

MS, DNB (Orthopaedics)

Dr. Deepak Anil Tambe, MS, DNB (Orthopaedics) is a senior orthopaedic surgeon, academician, and arthroscopy specialist with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research. He completed his M.S. in Orthopaedics from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital (Sion, Mumbai), one of India’s most reputed orthopaedic training institutes, followed by DNB (Orthopaedics), New Delhi.

Dr. Tambe has served in prestigious government and teaching hospitals including LTMMC Sion Hospital (Mumbai), Safdarjung Hospital (New Delhi), Government Medical College Miraj, and Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Loni). He has held academic positions ranging from Assistant Professor to Professor and is an MUHS-approved Undergraduate and Postgraduate teacher. He has also worked as an examiner and convenor for final MBBS examinations.

Years of Experience

A passionate clinician and researcher, Dr. Tambe has authored multiple original research articles and case reports published in indexed national and international orthopaedic journals. His key areas of interest include arthroscopy, sports injuries, knee ligament reconstruction, trauma surgery, and upper limb fractures. He is a life member of several professional bodies including the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthroscopy Society, Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association, and Trauma Society of India.

He has been practicing as a consultant arthroscopy surgeon since 2014 and is recognized as a leading arthroscopy surgeon in Sangamner since 2018. Dr. Tambe continues to combine advanced surgical care with academic excellence and evidence-based practice.

  • Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences(MUHS) approved Undergraduate(MBBS) Teacher from 2 June 2014. I Was Practicle MUHS Examiner for 3rd MBBS winter 2017 Session at LTMMC & GH.
